The Past weekend I hosted the Midwest RepRap Festival right here
at Royale Phoenix. RepRap stands for Replication & Rapid
Proto-typing otherwise known as 3D printers.
The event was sponsered by SeeMeCNC who is a local company that designed and sells 3D printer Kits that people can build.
I had lots of help from the the guys at the MakerSpace:_Goshen group getting the shop ready for the large crowd. Over 180 people attended the festival. It was a huge success!
SeeMeCNC and Makers Toolworks both held a build event where those that pre-ordered a 3D printer Kit were able to sit down with the desingers and get help building their new 3D printer.

People from all over came to set up their RepRap machine and show
off their stuff. Ohio, New York, Oregon, and One person came as
far as the Czeck Republic! Josef Prusa who is a huge name in the
RepRap movement flew all the way from the Czeck Republic to
enjoy a weekend with us.
It was a great weekend of fun and learning. It's all about everyone sharing ideas and learning something new.
